terms & conditions

GENERAL TERMS
1. I have the right to decline an order if I do not feel comfortable with it for any reason. 2. My signature will be included in the drawing and may not be removed. All art is considered personal unless stated otherwise. 3. Prices are subject to change based on demand. 4. Artworks may NOT be edited after completion, however they can be reposted preferably and highly encouraged with proper credit, with a link to at least one of my socials. (instagram preferably). 5. I reserve the right to post and use artworks I make. If you don't want the commissioned artwork to be posted, make sure to specify this upfront. 6. Be sure to provide me your email to ensure I am able to send you an invoice when needed.
PAYMENT
1. Payments are through PayPal. 2. I require 50% of the cost to be paid upfront before I begin the first sketch. The other 50% will be paid before I give you the finished artwork. 3. If payment has not been made within a week, I will cancel your order. 4. Payments will be in AUD. 5. The prices listed are mostly estimates, and the final amount may vary depending on the client's needs.
PROCCESS AND DELIVERY
1. Once the first payment has been made, you will be put into a queue list. I will tell you where you are on that queue immediately. 2. The approximate timeframe will depend on the complexity and your number on the commission queue. Roughly, it may take a few days to a few weeks. 3. I will let you know when I have started your commission. 4. Throughout the review process, I will provide you with the initial rough sketch of your commission, followed by the flat colored version, and ultimately, the final piece. (All will be heavily watermarked until final payment has been made). Your review and approval are required before I proceed to the next stages of the commission. 5. The final image will be a PNG artwork with high resolution, predominantly A4 in dimensions.
COPYRIGHT AND USAGE POLICY
The artist, UnusualDeity asserts ownership of the created artwork, rather than the purchaser. Therefore I am allowed to use the artwork to:
1. Post the commissioned art publicly (social media, printed form, etc). 2. Display it in all places according to my preferences
The buyer is allowed to:
1. Use the commissioned artwork for personal purposes such as social media profiles, forums, banners, profile pictures, and more. 2. Print the artwork (for personal use only) and claim the character(s) as their own (unless the artwork is fanart), but not the artwork itself. 3. Use the commissioned piece to promote themselves. It is not forced but it is highly recommended to provide credit for the artwork created by me. 4. Use the artwork on their Youtube channel and in monetised videos.
The distribution of the commissioned piece for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited unless prior consent has been obtained. In such cases, a permission fee and other arrangements will be applicable.
5. You are not allowed to remove my signature. 6. You cannot claim the artwork as your own individual work. 7. You cannot alter or make edits to the artwork without my consent (including AI).
CUSTOMER SERVICE
1. I take great pleasure in ensuring the satisfaction of my customers. If there are any concerns or issues with the commissioned piece, please don't hesitate to inform me immediately. 2. I am willing to adjust some of the terms for your commission if you request before I begin. For instance, if you prefer your commission to be private, we can have a conversation about it.
REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
1. Once the buyer has paid the final half for the commission, a refund cannot be made. 2. In the event that I am unable to start your commission for any reason, you will be promptly issued a complete refund. 3. You can cancel your order either before I send you an invoice or within the first week of pending payment.
